If you love orthodontics so much that you’d love to get together with a small group of like-minded doctors to explore advanced concepts and discuss unique cases, this Orthodontics Weekend Island Retreat is for you.

Spend part of your day in course attendance and part soaking in the beautiful Florida sunshine as you enjoy mentorship and networking in the great outdoors.

The AOS Orthodontic Retreat is unlike any other course the AOS offers. It will be held in an oceanfront beach home in an intimate setting. Amenities include:

St. George Island is known as a quaint, family-friendly beach destination that has ranked as the #1 beach in the US in 2022. Equal distance from Tallahassee Regional Airport and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, St. George offers chartered fishing trips, numerous dining options, and hiking, camping, and fishing at the St. George Island State Park. Nearby off the island, there are multiple golf courses and the town of Apalachicola, which is a historic town known for lovely shopping and dining.

The format will be a bit more free-flowing than a standard course. Half the day will be dedicated to lecture and half to mentorship.

Dr. Williams, a rural Oklahoma general practice dentist, took his first orthodontic course from the AOS in 1983. Over the last 30 years, he has gained experience in three major techniques (Begg, Tip-Edge, and Straight Wire), in which he has completed well over 1,000 cases. Dr. Williams is a Diplomate of the AOS, a former Board Member, and Senior Instructor for the Basic and Intermediate courses in Non-Extraction Straight Wire Orthodontics.

Course Cost

$2495 $2295 per AOS Member

Early bird pricing is offered through April 23, 2025. After that, the course fee increases to $2495.

Lodging and meal options start at $899. Refund policy is 50% of course fee six weeks prior to course date.
