For General and Pediatric Dentists
This two-session course designed for doctors and their assistants will provide participants with the information, processes, techniques and support they need to start implementing in-house clear aligners in their own practices immediately. This course will be an immersive look into clear aligner treatment emphasizing hands-on learning. By the end of the course, you will have designed and manufactured your first set of clear aligners for a patient of your choosing! This unique program provides a comprehensive step-by-step guide to identifying potential patients, designing and manufacturing aligners. You will learn about the finances around in-house aligners including ROI, initial investment, and on-going costs. Course Instructor
Dr. Amar Pattani, DDS
Dr. Pattani was born in Jacksonville, Florida but spent most of his life in the suburbs of Chicago. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked as a strategy and management software consultant with Deloitte and IBM for 12 years before attaining his DDS from the Marquette University School of Dentistry. A life-long tinkerer and breaker of things (and sometimes fixer of those things), Dr. Pattani has a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Over the past six years, he has been offering comprehensive straight-wire orthodontic treatment and clear aligner treatment, and for the past four years, he has focused on providing high-quality, high-ROI, in-house clear aligner therapy. Dr. Pattani has presented several webinars on the benefits of in-house 3D printing with Formlabs and has become a recognized advocate for integrating advanced technologies into everyday dental practice. He operates two successful dental practices in Illinois, offering general dentistry, implants, cosmetics, orthodontics, and oral surgery to his patients. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Pattani is a frequent guest on WGN Radio’s John Williams Show, where he discusses dental topics and answers questions from callers. When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Pattani enjoys dabbling in circuitry, astronomy, and DIY projects, combining his engineering background with his creative interests.
